The MiHaven team has won a list of categories in this years HIA Awards. The awards are an industry acknowledgement of the incredible work carried out by companies in the region across the year. The entire MiHaven team comes together to deliver projects that deliver on our business for purpose model. This is demonstrated by our prestigious category wins in 2021.

2021 Specialised Housing of the Year Award

MiHaven was also awarded the Specialised Housing of the Year Award for its first-ever Specialist Disability Housing (SDA) project in Lily Street, Cairns. MiHaven is now the leading provider of SDA homes in North QLD as it rolls out a pipeline of $40m worth of projects to address the critical shortage of disability housing in the region.

2021 North QLD Apprentice of the Year Award

MiHaven is extremely proud of the achievements of its entire building team and this was celebrated with the awarding of the Apprentice of the Year Award to Eric Latham. The judges were impressed with Eric’s incredible progress as a tradesman and his focus on delivering projects on time and to the highest standard. Eric is trained by our team at MiHaven Training and is an example of what is possible with great support and opportunity in the industry.

2021 Townhouse/Villa of the Year Award

The team took out the prestigious Townhouse/Villa of the Year Award for our Denbeigh Street project with judges citing the innovative solution to a small inner-urban block and difficult design conditions as a standout in the category.
