CPC31411 Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing
This qualification provides a trade outcome in waterproofing for the residential and commercial construction industry.
The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as two specialist fields of work.
The construction industry strongly affirms that training and assessment leading to recognition of skills must be undertaken in a real or very closely simulated workplace environment and this qualification requires all units of competency to be delivered in this context.
This course is delivered face-to-face, on-the-job and includes a blend of theory and practical assessments.
Cohort - Apprenticeship
Face-to-face training is delivered two days per month (8 hours per day) over a three year period. A trainer will also conduct a site visit (at the student’s workplace) every three months.
It is suggested that students do 7 hours of independent study per week to complete one unit per month.

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)
If you are currently working in the industry you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning (RPL). Please contact us for further information.
This qualification is a trade outcome. Employment pathways from this qualification can include either Post Tensioner or Waterproofer.
