CPC30211 Certificate III in Carpentry
This qualification provides a trade outcome in carpentry, covering work in residential and commercial applications.
The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work.
The construction industry strongly affirms that training and assessment leading to recognition of skills must be undertaken in a real or very closely simulated workplace environment and this qualification requires all units of competency to be delivered in this context.
This course is delivered face-to-face, on-the-job and includes a blend of theory and practical assessments.
Cohort - Apprenticeship
Face-to-face training is delivered two days per month (8 hours per day) over a three year period. A trainer will also conduct a site visit (at the student’s workplace) every three months.
It is suggested that students do 7 hours of independent study per week to complete one unit per month.
