International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations observed day celebrated internationally. It aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrate their achievements and contributions.

The theme for IDPwD 2020 is “Building Back Better: toward a disability-inclusive, accessible and sustainable post-COVID-19 World”.

At MiHaven Care we “Build Back Better” every day of the week as we roll out our plan to provide the very best SDA housing options for those with a disability here in Far North Queensland. We celebrate today as a way to shine a light on the achievements and contributions those living with disability make to our community but also to raise awareness that so much more needs to be done.

MiHaven Care will continue to build better futures for people in need of SDA housing. If you are interested in learning more about our SDA homes, please register your interest here.
